| exceeded my expectations -little touches made all the differences. I have stayed at all other leading hotels in Kochi and from experience this is the best by a long way |

| excellent location, easy access to ferries to Cochin and Ernakulam
complementary high tea at 5:15, followed by complementary sunset cruise on the bay/lake
staff falling over themselves to be of service and 5 staff waved goodbye to us as we left for the airport wishing us a safe trip home!!!
can't say enough about this wonderful hotel!!

| The people at the Taj was awesome. food was good but a bit pricy. The location is a bit far from airport about an hour' drive. But it was worth it. The bar was ecxcellent and so was the spa. |

| Fantastisk spahotel ute på Willingdon Island. Hotellet ligger et stykke fra byen og det gjør ingen ting. Når du er lei av all den larmen som finnes i Cochin, er det godt å komme ut til denne oasen. Av alle hotell jeg har vært på i dette området, er dette i en klasse for seg selv. Upåklagelig service,vakre omgivelser og varierte restauranter med svært god mat. Jeg vil trekke fram The Rice Boat i særklasse.
De scampiene du får der, har jeg aldri smakt maken til. Etterpå kan man sitte å nyte en iskald Kingfisher ute i hagen og bare sitte å titte på skipene som sklir forbi.Seks på terningen. Anbefales på det sterkeste. |

| The best service I have experienced of any hotel! They staff were courteous, calm, and very accommodating. They spoke perfectly and calmly, was such a pleasing and relaxing experience. The hotel and grounds are immaculately maintained and I would love to move in here if it were possible! |

| Freundlicher Empfang, kompetenter Service - auch bei der Beratung für externe Dienste (z.B. Anmietung von Taxi). Kleiner, aber netter Pool, gutes Buffet. Hotelterasse mit Blick auf Fort Cochin. Schönes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer - hatten Blick über den Hafen - lohnt sich. Das Hotel bietet alles, was man von einem Hotel der Taj-Kette erwartet. Empfehlenswert.
Einziger Nachteil: Hotels befindet sich inmitten des Hafengeländes. Öffentlicher Fährverkehr nach Fort Cochin zwar nicht weit vom Hotel (ca. 10 Minutes Fußmarsch), aber führt durch wenig malerisches Hafengelände. Boote fahren spät abends nicht mehr und auch nicht ganz so häufig. Fahrt mit dem Taxi unproblematisch, aber relativ weit. |

| Das Hotel ist hat viel Stil, liegt nicht unbedingt im Zentrum (auf Willingdon Island) und inmitten von Container-Terminals, diese Lage ist jedoch auf das ursprüngliche historische Hotel zurückzuführen und bringt eher den Vorteil der frischen Brise vom Meer her, mit einer Fähre (10 Minuten Fußmarsch) oder einem praktisch neben dem Hotel gemieteten Boot ist man innerhalb von 10 Minuten im historischen Fort Cochin. Service und Bedienung ist ausgesprochen freundlich!! |

| We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms and common areas were well looked after and very comfortable. The food we had was delicious and the bar staff were friendly and attentive.
We particularly liked the afternoon tea and boat trip. This gave us a chance to talk to talk to the other guests in an informal setting.
We took 3 wheeler to Cochin and were lucky with our driver since he took us to all the sights and gave us a good tour. The next day we took the ferry across and enjoyed wandering around the markets. |
