this is a great resort. everything about it just perfect - that explains the perfect score. i had just 2 grudges:
1. the view from the room was not great. i thought they could have worked out the hotel layout better in order to provide a view of the lake/ backwaters/ pool etc. although this is available in some rooms, the view from my room was completely blocked by trees and other cottages close by
2. the price was a bit steep

Lovely hotel in beautiful location - great meandering pool room. Staff helpful and obliging. Activities if desired - good spa. Only criticism would be that the towels were a bit grubby. Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay.
